The room at the top is quieter than anyone warns you.
Private mentorship for chief executives who need somewhere to think out loud, with someone who has sat in the same chair and will tell them the truth.
Book my spot nowEveryone brings you their problems. Nobody asks about yours.
- You cannot be uncertain in front of your board or your team.
- Your peers are competitors, so the conversation is never fully open.
- The decisions that keep you awake are the ones you cannot discuss.
- You are performing confidence more often than you are feeling it.
Gerry on CEO mentorship, in his own words
Two minutes on what CEO mentorship is, how it differs from coaching, and why confidentiality is the whole basis of it.
What CEO mentorship has done for the chief executives who took it
What a standing mentorship relationship with Gerry actually gives a chief executive.
Years Gerry has spent in the rooms these decisions get made in
Confidential, including from your board and your investors
Person who knows the whole picture and has no stake in the outcome

How CEO mentorship with Gerry works
Mentorship at this level is less about instruction and more about having a genuine peer. Someone with no stake in the outcome, no reporting line, and no reason to tell you what you want to hear.
-
01
We build the relationship first
This does not work without trust and trust does not arrive on a schedule. The early sessions are about Gerry understanding the business and you deciding whether you can be straight with him.
-
02
You bring what is actually on your mind
No agenda set in advance. Some sessions are a specific decision, some are strategy, some are the thing you have not said out loud to anyone.
-
03
We work the problem properly
Gerry has been in FTSE-listed rooms, global energy operators and founder-led businesses. Where he has seen it before, he will say so plainly rather than asking you how it makes you feel.
-
04
We keep the long view in sight
Quarterly, we step back from the immediate and look at whether the business, and your role in it, is heading where you actually want it to.
What CEO mentorship changes about the job
You think more clearly
Having somewhere to reason out loud is worth more than most executives expect until they have it.
The isolation lifts
Not solved, exactly. But considerably more bearable when one person genuinely understands the position.
Decisions get made sooner
The ones you have been holding tend to move within the first month or two.
Is CEO mentorship the right fit for you?
This is for you if
- You hold ultimate responsibility for a business of meaningful size.
- You want a peer rather than a consultant or a coach.
- You will say the difficult thing out loud once you trust the room.
This is not for you if
- You want a structured programme with defined modules.
- You are looking for someone to deliver work rather than think with you.
I stopped being the bottleneck. My team stepped up because the framework gave them room to.

CEO mentorship: the questions chief executives ask
How is this different from CEO Coaching?
Coaching works on your performance in the role and has a direction of travel. Mentorship has no curriculum. You bring whatever is live and Gerry works it with you as a peer who has been there.
Is what I say genuinely confidential?
Yes, including from your board and your investors. Nothing leaves the room. Without that guarantee the relationship has no value.
What if I do not have anything specific to bring?
Those are frequently the most useful sessions. Space to think without a pressing agenda is the thing chief executives have least of.
Somewhere to think out loud.
An initial conversation, entirely confidential, to see whether this is what you are looking for.
